Marlborough

ID Studio worked on Marlborough's first company website back in 2010. The purpose of the website was to convey the company ethos - Add Value, Be Valued®. We were recently asked to completely redesign and reimagine their brand and the original website from the ground up.

Marlborough has an impressive client list that includes: Northern, Giacom, Merseyrail, Nike, Converse, Wizz, Sovereign, Glofox, Menzies, YourTube, Evotec, RES and AstraZeneca.

'I had worked with other agencies in the past, and ID Studio Web Agency was at the top of my list'. Tony Eccleston, Managing Partner, Marlborough

Website Overview

ID Studio was tasked with completely redesigning the branding and marketing website. Our starting point, as with any project, is careful planning and workshop discussion to draw out the core objectives and create meaning-focused concepts. The elevator pitch was a key discussion point, and we expanded this into an interactive 3D presentation. The Marlborough website incorporates the following:

  • Careful planning and workshop discussion
  • Creative brand and objective-driven website design
  • The hero module concept is sculpted in Blender and developed in Three.JS
  • Responsive mobile-first website
  • Strategically placed call-to-action triggers designed to maximise enquiries
  • ProcessWire CMS for the marketing website

ProcessWire Content Management System

The Marlborough website utilises a flexible ProcessWire backend, providing a user-friendly content management system. At ID Studio, we engage in regular discussions on the merits and drawbacks of various content management systems. Factors such as ease of use, development flexibility, security options, and post-launch maintenance requirements are carefully considered. We are not bound to any specific system and have experience with most, including ProcessWire, WordPress, Contentful, and custom development using the Laravel framework.
